Senior Manager, Mechanical and Solution Engineering, Workstations

Location: Taipei, Taiwan; candidates must perform the job in Taipei and be authorized to work in Taiwan.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop engineering managers and individual contributors across multiple disciplines.
• Own the mechanical and thermal design strategy for entry workstation platforms.
• Oversee thermal simulations, airflow optimization, cooling technology evaluation, mechanical integration, and manufacturability.
• Lead turnkey solution and emerging technology integration into workstation platforms.
• Develop customized workstation solutions for advanced customer workflows and specialized use cases.
• Influence product roadmaps and make cross-functional tradeoff decisions across performance, acoustics, cost, quality, power, and schedule.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical and thermal product development.
• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Experience developing desktop, workstation, server, or other high-performance computing systems.
• Strong knowledge of thermal management, acoustics, structural design, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional product development programs from concept to production.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating third-party turnkey technologies into commercial products.
• Knowledge of CPU/GPU performance optimization, power management, and platform architecture.
• Familiarity with thermal simulation tools, reliability testing, and acoustic engineering.
• Experience working with global engineering teams, ODM/JDM partners, and component suppliers.
