Process Systems Engineer

What you will do

• Review process flow diagrams and develop, mark up, check, and publish P&ID revisions.
• Prepare shutdown, permissive, and SNQ tables, as well as flowsheet change notes for multidisciplinary approval.
• Participate in or lead P&ID review meetings and manage the resolution of project technical issues.
• Contribute to plant reliability, operability, and hazard reviews while ensuring designs meet company standards and customer requirements.
• Coordinate operational and interface details with other engineering disciplines and improve work processes.
• Prepare plant operating manuals and procedures, and provide training and mentoring to less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Typically more than 10 years of experience in a design institute or relevant engineering field.
• Understanding of process and machinery operation, including start-up and shutdown.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Good computer, coaching, teamwork, and leadership skills, with a results-oriented approach.
