Senior ME Engineer (HVAC Product)

Location: On-site in Taicang, Jiangsu, China, five days per week

What you will do

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing Airside Handling Unit products.
• Define process flows, routings, sequence of events, work instructions, standards, and manufacturing documentation.
• Conduct time studies, analyze labor content and cycle times, and lead line design, layout planning, and line balancing.
• Identify and implement automation, tooling, equipment, and process improvements to enhance throughput, quality, safety, and ergonomics.
• Support new product development, process validation, pilot builds, production readiness, and product launches.
• Collaborate with operations, product engineering, quality, maintenance, EHS, and supply chain teams while mentoring junior engineers and production support personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production engineering.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, layout planning, line design, line balancing, and material flow optimization.
• Experience with automation projects, capital equipment implementation, manufacturing productivity improvement, and new product production launches.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, process validation, standard work, and familiarity with CAD or layout design tools.
• Good project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with HVAC products.
• Experience supporting facility or infrastructure-related maintenance.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification.
