What you will do
- Prepare, coordinate, and control maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability, productivity, product quality, and safety.
- Establish preventive and predictive maintenance plans, maintain equipment logs, and improve daily inspections.
- Develop annual maintenance budgets, track costs, and deliver innovation and savings initiatives.
- Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance team members while ensuring compliance with SOPs and technical requirements.
- Participate in shutdowns, plant modifications, capital projects, and the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
- Manage supplier and contractor activities, conduct vendor assessments, and lead reliability and TPM initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, with additional specialized technical training preferred.
- At least four years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing production plant.
- At least three years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance in MB/compounds or plastics-related manufacturing, reliability-centered maintenance, PM, PDM, inspections, and turnarounds.
- Knowledge of maintenance budgeting, cost estimation, project execution, manufacturing processes, technical drawings, and root-cause analysis.
- Good English communication skills in reading and writing are required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Knowledge of building structures, utilities, facilities, and environmental awareness.
- Experience with confined-space entry, lockout/tagout, hot-work permitting, and accident or near-miss investigation procedures.
