Data Governance Deployment Coordinator (Engineering Data Management Specialist)

What you will do

• Maintain and update the central Data Governance Methods Inventory and ensure governance processes remain actionable and aligned with business goals.
• Manage the Business Object lifecycle, including ownership assignment, sensitivity mapping, and metadata curation standards for the Data Catalog.
• Design and deliver awareness sessions and training materials covering Data Quality, Data Products, and Data Usage Assessments.
• Lead the Data Officers' community, coordinate Data Governance committee and operational meeting cycles, and onboard new Data Custodians.
• Assess data-domain maturity and identify critical Business Objects through stakeholder workshops.
• Provide expertise on data regulations, including the EU Data Act, and support the long-term Data Office roadmap.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Data Governance or Data Compliance, including at least 2 years in a Data Management field.
• Knowledge of Data Governance principles, enterprise processes, and ontology concepts.
• Experience with change management, project management, workshop facilitation, and training design.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to bridge technical and business requirements, explain reporting details to non-technical users, and work effectively in a multicultural team.
• Adaptability, strategic thinking, customer orientation, attention to detail, and comfort working with ambiguity.
