Data Analyst (Data Science)

Location: Bucharest office, Romania; hybrid work-from-home/work-from-office option

Salary: 14,400 RON gross per month, plus a 13th salary and vacation bonus.

What you will do

• Deliver business insights by mining extremely large datasets and applying advanced analytical techniques and algorithms.
• Analyze market and brand share performance to identify trends and root causes.
• Forecast growth opportunities and competitive threats to support new market strategies.
• Expand organizational knowledge and capabilities in analytics.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts on analytics applications and business solutions.

Requirements

• Be at least in the second year of a bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, analytics, or a related field.
• Business fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Passion for data analysis, programming, discovering insights, and developing strategic recommendations.
• Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, prioritization ability, self-motivation, collaboration, and a can-do attitude.
• Experience with at least one data science programming language or business analytics tool, including SQL, R, Python, or Power BI, is required.

Nice to have

• Previous knowledge of the Hadoop or Azure big data ecosystem.
