Lead Engineer, EI&C (Industrial Automation)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor EI&C engineers and designers while managing project planning, schedules, and deliverables.
• Develop, review, and approve electrical schematics, P&IDs, control architectures, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Design and oversee PLC/DCS programming, HMI development, SCADA integration, instrumentation selection, and equipment procurement.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, ISA, NFPA, BLRBAC, client specifications, and industrial safety requirements.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and civil engineering disciplines and represent EI&C in client meetings and project reviews.
• Develop testing and commissioning procedures and provide technical support during construction, installation, and startup.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive EI&C engineering experience, including 3 years in a leadership or senior industrial role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical interface engineering, instrumentation, sensors, transmitters, valves, selection, and engineering activities.
• Experience with PLC/DCS hardware and software, including Siemens, Rockwell, Emerson, or hirify.global DNA.
• Familiarity with Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Foundation Fieldbus, and instrumentation design tools such as AutoCAD, COMOS, or EPLAN.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
