What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate product improvements and new product releases with design engineering, software engineering, test engineering, and Operations.
• Launch, approve, and implement engineering change requests for new and existing products.
• Estimate manufacturing costs, establish time standards, recommend tooling and process requirements, and apply DFx principles to improve quality and reduce costs.
• Develop test procedures, support test specification definition, and assist with test fixture design and sourcing.
• Evaluate operational and test data, perform root-cause and corrective-action analysis, and conduct Process Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis for new product development.

Requirements

• Expanded conceptual knowledge in the relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience applying engineering judgment to solve straightforward manufacturing and assembly problems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality improvement, cost reduction, and operational analysis.
• Ability to explain complex technical information in straightforward situations.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
