AI Native Staff Architect (Remote) (AI)

Location: United States; remote role

Salary: $137,102–$246,784 base pay, plus variable pay opportunity

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and implementation of AWS cloud-native solutions for identity fraud detection, risk analysis, and digital intelligence.
• Design scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-efficient systems supporting device fingerprinting, behavioral data, fraud indicators, and risk scoring.
• Build low-latency RESTful services and event-driven platforms processing high volumes of real-time data.
• Establish architecture standards, conduct reviews, and mentor engineers across multiple teams.
• Partner with product, engineering, data science, security, and strategic partners to translate fraud and risk requirements into technical solutions.
• Embed AI and ML capabilities into product features and promote AI tools for development, testing, and operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience designing cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Expertise with AWS services including EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, and Lambda, plus Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience designing scalable Java architectures for high-volume, low-latency applications.
• Experience architecting mission-critical systems serving millions of requests with demanding performance and availability requirements.
• Expertise in event-driven platforms, APIs, asynchronous processing, Kafka, database optimization, and high-throughput systems.
• Experience leading technical strategy, managing engineering dependencies, establishing standards, and mentoring engineers.
