AI Architect (Generative AI)

Location: Remote

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 plus equity

What you will do

• Own the AI strategy and implementation roadmap for an enterprise IoT and OT security platform.
• Architect, develop, and launch AI-driven applications and services into production.
• Build or fine-tune lightweight models for data normalization, classification, deduplication, and fingerprinting.
• Analyze datasets to identify patterns and convert insights into automated rules or machine learning models.
• Guide decisions involving AI platforms, model deployment, data pipelines, and supporting infrastructure.
• Partner with product management, engineering, executive leadership, and customer-facing teams to align AI initiatives with business goals.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of backend engineering experience with Java and Spring, combined with hands-on development, solution architecture, and AI leadership.
• Practical experience designing, building, and deploying generative AI solutions using large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, and modern AI frameworks.
• Experience integrating production-quality AI capabilities into existing platforms through public LLM APIs, including generating scripts, rules, and structured logic for automation.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives from concept through production, work in ambiguous environments, and establish new processes.
• Experience shaping product direction, creating technology roadmaps, and communicating complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Proven ability to design scalable, cloud-native applications and services for enterprise AI workloads.
