Commercial Training & Competency Program Manager (Life Sciences)

Location: Fully remote in the United Kingdom; ability to travel 20% of the time.

What you will do

• Develop and lead a global commercial training strategy, including onboarding programs and blended learning solutions.
• Build and govern a global sales competency framework covering capability requirements, proficiency assessment, gap identification, and development plans.
• Partner with Regional Commercial Leaders, Business Units, and Danaher Business System teams to align priorities and enable local execution.
• Establish standardized training governance, content management, reporting, compliance oversight, learning platforms, and Train-the-Trainer networks.
• Measure training effectiveness, monitor competency progress, analyze performance gaps, and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Training & Development, Commercial Management, or comparable experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Sales, Commercial Excellence, Sales Enablement, or Training roles.
• Experience building and managing global programs and projects.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Strong command of MS Office, especially MS Excel, and LLM-based answer engines such as M365 Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems such as Cornerstone or Workday Learning.
