Senior Solutions Engineer (Data Infrastructure)

Location: Remote, but candidates must be based in the Dallas, Texas metro area to support customers and partners across the territory.

Salary: $197,200–$255,200 annual OTE, including base salary and potential commission.

What you will do

• Partner with two Enterprise Client Executives to develop territory strategies, qualify opportunities, and execute customer engagements.
• Lead consultative discovery sessions to identify business initiatives, technical challenges, and modernization opportunities.
• Design and position solutions across storage, hybrid cloud, cyber resilience, and modern data infrastructure.
• Build relationships with enterprise architects, infrastructure leaders, technical decision-makers, and executives.
• Deliver demonstrations, workshops, proofs of concept, and technical presentations throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with channel partners, hirify.global specialists, and technical resources while managing multiple opportunities and pipeline stages.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, systems engineering, technical pre-sales, or solution consulting within enterprise technology.
• Success supporting enterprise or Fortune 1000 customers through complex technology sales cycles.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure and a strong foundation in storage or storage-adjacent technologies.
• Broad knowledge of storage, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, hybrid cloud, and modern data center architectures.
• Ability to design technical solutions aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, prioritization, and opportunity-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with structured discovery, MEDDICC, account planning, opportunity qualification, and pipeline management.
• Ability to discuss ROI, TCO, consumption models, and solution value with technical and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and the ability to coordinate specialist expertise during customer engagements.
