Staff Quality Assurance Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; onsite, with no remote work available

What you will do

• Manage daily quality assurance operations, resource allocation, and operational decision-making.
• Lead quality culture and improvement activities across manufacturing and supporting functions.
• Manage customer quality requirements, audits, documentation, change management, technical discussions, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and customer-specific requirements.
• Monitor quality performance through data analysis, risk assessment, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement.
• Work with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to resolve quality concerns and improve product and process performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• Experience in quality, process, or manufacturing within the semiconductor industry.
• Formal training or certification in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Knowledge of core quality tools, including APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
• Training in quality tools, statistical analysis, and management.
• Onsite work in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia is required; remote work is not available.
