Staff Engineer, Electrical Devices, Supplier Quality Engineering (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Own supplier quality and reliability for passive and standard IC electrical components.
• Manage supplier readiness programs supporting new product development and coordinate execution across multiple suppliers.
• Audit supplier quality management systems and manufacturing processes, including fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Lead investigations of device failures and supplier quality issues using 8D, root-cause analysis, CAPA, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, hardware, firmware, product quality, reliability, manufacturing, procurement, and program management teams.
• Develop supplier-quality KPIs, evaluate supplier performance, and assess process changes and qualification needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in supplier quality management and quality management, preferably in semiconductor, storage, electronics engineering, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience evaluating, qualifying, and monitoring suppliers and developing supplier quality plans and standards.
• Strong knowledge of FMEA, SPC, 8D, root-cause analysis, CAPA, supplier audits, and process assessments.
• Strong product experience with passive and standard IC components; ASIC, PMIC, and memory component experience is advantageous.
• Fluent English is required, with strong verbal and written communication skills; ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification is required.

Nice to have

• Lead Auditor qualification.
• IC design house experience.
• Mandarin language skills.
• Familiarity with Power BI and quality or statistical analysis software.
