Field Applications Specialist - Core Histology

Location: Remote from the United States, field-based in the Northeast territory; up to 75% domestic and occasional international travel, including possible overnight stays.

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 annually, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Provide in-field technical applications support for automated histology instrumentation and reagents.
• Support regional sales and profitability goals for relevant instrumentation and consumables.
• Perform basic installation, evaluations, qualification, and optimization of instrumentation with supervision or mentorship.
• Investigate technical applications with Technical Service, Applications leadership, and Global Business Units.
• Respond to and document PMDRs, coordinating follow-up actions and customer training.
• Deliver post-purchase applications support and training to Core Histology customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of histology laboratory experience in a clinical, research, or industrial setting.
• Understanding of the relevant histology marketplace or a related discipline.
• At least one year of experience operating, optimizing, and supporting manual and automated core histology products.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel by air and/or drive up to 75% of the time.
• Ability to lift, move, stand, walk, sit, squat, kneel, use stairs, and reach with hands and arms; lifting requirements are up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• HT, HTL, or QIHC certification from ASCP.
