Atomic Solutions Field Application Engineer (ICP-OES/ICP-MS)

Location: Remote within the United States, with residence required within a one-hour drive of a major metropolitan airport; overnight travel to customer sites across the US and Canada is required at least 75% of the time.

Salary: $84,160–$131,500 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Deliver customized consulting and application support remotely and at customer sites.
• Educate customers and provide training on ICP-OES and ICP-MS hardware and software.
• Answer technical questions and contribute to the resolution of customer application and system problems.
• Design and deliver integrated solutions spanning multiple technologies.
• Share technical knowledge with the Customer Service Organization and mentor colleagues and partners.
• Support customers working in regulated environments and solve complex, high-impact engineering service problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or another life-science discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 2 years of experience with ICP-OES and ICP-MS solutions and a deep understanding of related workflows and applications.
• Expertise in atomic spectroscopy techniques, workflows, and solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of application implementation and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, at least 75% business travel, and overnight air travel.
