Junior SW Safety Engineer - Student (Automotive)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; flexible work hours and a work-from-home policy are available.

What you will do

• Contribute to functional safety and cybersecurity deliverables, including impact analysis, safety and cybersecurity plans, software tool evaluation, and safety cases.
• Help plan safety confirmation measures and cybersecurity audits according to assessment plans.
• Monitor the execution and acceptance of safety confirmation and audit activities.
• Support deployment of the functional safety process at project level.
• Identify and report project-level safety risks and support interaction with safety assessors.
• Learn and apply software development methods required by ISO 26262.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Interest in functional safety, cybersecurity, and automotive software development.
• Reliable and conscientious working style is required for security-related tasks and potential security certification activities.
