Direct Sourcing Lead – Category Manager (Supply Chain)

Location: On-site in Duncan, South Carolina, United States. Travel in the USA and Europe is required 1–2 times per quarter.

What you will do

• Create, update, and maintain global sourcing strategies for 1–3 categories within the Single Use Technologies business unit.
• Support site buyers and quality teams with supplier escalations.
• Negotiate pricing and contract language with local and global category suppliers.
• Deliver cost-reduction targets through negotiations and cross-functional project teams.
• Promote supply-chain sustainability by selecting and supporting sustainability-focused suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement.
• Experience developing and maintaining global sourcing strategies.
• Experience with tactical procurement, pricing and contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
• Demonstrated leadership, influence, and communication skills across organizational levels.
• Participation in continuous-improvement or lean-methodology activities.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in global category management.
