Manufacturing Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work.

Annual salary: $76,390–$146,440 USD

What you will do

• Provide technical expertise across the product lifecycle, including New Product Introduction builds and sustaining manufacturing processes.
• Develop manufacturing decision-support tools, methodologies, standards, and operational sequences.
• Identify and resolve process deviations while improving efficiency, product quality, and factory performance.
• Analyze factory metrics to improve output, capacity, and operational health.
• Collaborate with factory operations, engineering, automation, and other stakeholders on manufacturing strategies and tools.
• Maintain manufacturing documentation and define manufacturing system requirements with automation teams.

Requirements

• US citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related STEM field.
• Experience with manufacturing processes through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related STEM field.
• Familiarity with semiconductor technology development and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in development or high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge or certification in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Program or project management experience, plus data mining and visualization using SQL, Power BI, R, or JMP.
