Technician II - Commercial and Regulated - Monday-Thursday, 9:00pm - 7:30am

Location: Coralville, Iowa, United States; on-site. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00pm–7:30am.

hirify.global’s Integrated DNA Technologies develops and manufactures genomics and life-science products for researchers working across areas including cancer, infectious disease, and rare genetic disorders.

What you will do

• Transform raw materials into final customer-specific products, including decontamination and product transfer.
• Set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic manufacturing machines and related equipment.
• Operate laboratory instruments while following work instructions, SOPs, regulations, and company procedures.
• Formulate custom orders and take quality-control samples.
• Support daily management by assessing data, identifying problems, and suggesting countermeasures.
• Perform maintenance connection software tasks as part of the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Some laboratory experience.
• Proficiency with PC software and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work on-site in Coralville, Iowa, on the Monday–Thursday overnight schedule.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in biology, chemistry, or another science-related field.
• At least 12 months of laboratory experience or life-science work experience.
• Experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and internet-based tools.
