Manufacturing Technician I (Thursday-Sunday, 6:30 am-6:30 pm)

Location: Decatur, TX, United States; on-site manufacturing facility. Schedule: Thursday-Sunday, 6:30 am-6:30 pm.

What you will do

• Operate manufacturing machines and equipment, including feeder hoppers, packer heads, air mills, remills, presses, forklifts, furnaces, vessels, and related process equipment.
• Process raw materials, green-forming billets, and carbon billets for graphite, silicon carbide, and specialty material production.
• Perform quality checks, visual inspections, and production-record updates.
• Identify minor equipment malfunctions, participate in preventive maintenance, and help minimize downtime.
• Handle, store, and transport raw materials and finished products while maintaining product integrity.
• Follow SOPs and safety requirements, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with engineers and production supervisors on troubleshooting and process improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical or technical manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to wear required PPE, perform visual checks, and handle materials responsibly.
• Ability to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Ability to comply with federally mandated U.S. export control requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment.
