Quality Control Technician - 2nd Shift (Monday -Thursday, 3:00PM - 1:30AM)

Location: Office/site only in Fort Payne, Alabama, United States. Second shift Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM.

What you will do

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, finished products, and quality records.
• Perform dimensional inspections, laboratory testing, calibration activities, audits, and other quality verification tasks.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications and use precision measurement equipment.
• Document inspection results, test data, audit findings, and nonconformances in electronic quality systems.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities, training, and quality-related events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing or quality inspection experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, or willingness to learn.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and verniers.
• Digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn SAP and other quality management platforms.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Ability to work overtime and temporarily adjust shifts when required.
