Manager II - Project Engineering (Wind)

Location: Remote/traveling for corporate use; travel up to 50% of the time based on project and business needs.

Salary: $147,232–$213,486 per year.

What you will do

• Lead multiple engineering teams and programs supporting utility-scale wind projects.
• Oversee engineering contributions from pre-construction estimating and bid-phase design through award, construction support, and closeout.
• Guide Lead Engineers, Senior Engineers, and Engineer I/II staff on design and estimating deliverables.
• Coordinate with Construction, Estimating, Supply Chain, vendors, and external engineering firms to improve safety, cost, and efficiency.
• Support portfolio-level review and approval of equipment, products, and materials.
• Strengthen engineering processes, develop engineering leaders, and manage client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited college, or equivalent industry experience.
• Professional Engineering license, Project Management Professional certification, or equivalent credential.
• 10 or more years of progressive engineering experience in energy, construction, power generation, utilities, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience developing engineers and engineering leaders while managing multiple concurrent programs or teams.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle driving record required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Experience leading engineering teams for utility-scale wind or renewable energy projects.
