Autonomous Vehicle Technician (Level 1-2) (Automotive)

Location: AV-Depot, Phoenix, Arizona; onsite role

What you will do

• Perform multi-point safety and cosmetic inspections to confirm vehicle readiness.
• Document maintenance using standardized Condition, Cause, Correction, and Confirmation practices.
• Execute repair orders in maintenance management systems to maximize fleet uptime.
• Follow high-voltage safety, lockout/tagout, and hazardous-material handling procedures.
• Perform vehicle startups, basic software loading, and data-logging hardware installations.
• For Level 2 roles, replace Lidar, Radar, and compute units, triage vehicle networks, and execute SOPs independently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work assigned AM, PM, or overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift assemblies exceeding 50 pounds.
• Strong adherence to SOPs and safety protocols.
• Level 1: 1–3 years of automotive maintenance experience.
• Level 2: 3–5 years of experience focused on complex electronics or diagnostics; a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history are required.
