Senior Director, User Experience

What you will do

• Set the design vision and strategy for hirify.global's product portfolio, including trustworthy, explainable AI-powered and agentic experiences.
• Represent design in senior leadership forums and influence product roadmaps, prioritization, and major product decisions.
• Lead the operating model for four product design teams and approximately 30 globally distributed designers, including staffing, capacity planning, prioritization, and design operations.
• Establish scalable discovery, design review, engineering handoff, quality, and measurement practices.
• Manage four design leaders, develop career paths and growth plans, and strengthen critique and craft standards.
• Manage budget, tooling, and contractor or vendor relationships while advancing AI adoption across the design practice.

Requirements

• 15+ years of product design experience, including 6+ years leading design managers or leads.
• Experience in a SaaS or enterprise software environment and leading multiple design teams across a broad product portfolio.
• Experience building and operating design functions at scale, including resourcing models, metrics, review cadences, and tooling.
• Experience managing distributed global teams across time zones.
• Working knowledge of design systems, accessibility, and localization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence product, engineering, research, and executive stakeholders.
