Quality Assurance Associate (Warehouse)

Location: On-site in Romeoville, Illinois

Salary: $25.00–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect inbound and outbound trailers, warehouse locations, pallets, cases, and split-case totes for brand, variety, quantity, and order accuracy.
• Check pallet construction and identify mispicks, misplaced cases, and structural issues.
• Work with selectors and leadership to correct discrepancies and rebuild pallets in real time.
• Verify food safety and quality standards, document issues, and support root-cause analysis.
• Protect inventory integrity and the customer experience throughout warehouse operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Knowledge of inventory accuracy validation, pallet construction standards, food safety requirements, and basic LEAN concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard web-based tools.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb as required, and safely lift, carry, push, or move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks and work in temperatures from -10°F to ambient.

Nice to have

• Experience in food distribution, quality assurance, inventory control, or clerking.
• Additional training in quality, food safety, or warehouse operations.
