Director of Distribution Region Operations (Energy)

Location: Onsite at the AEP Ohio Office in Gahanna, Ohio, United States

Salary: $160,434.00–$208,565.50 annually, plus annual bonus and long-term incentive.

What you will do

• Oversee the design, construction, operation, maintenance, and emergency restoration of the distribution system.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct distribution asset construction, operations, and maintenance activities.
• Develop tactical plans, budgets, and annual operating plans aligned with asset management strategies.
• Enforce company safety practices and ensure compliance with safety, reliability, contractual, tariff, and legal requirements.
• Maintain customer satisfaction through efficient and responsive distribution services.
• Lead personnel administration, performance management, staffing decisions, labor agreements, and compliance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred with at least 10 years of distribution systems operations or related experience.
• Alternatively, an associate degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 14 or more years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of progressive supervisory or management experience.
• Onsite work at the AEP Ohio Office in Gahanna, Ohio is required.
