Sr. Staff Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: Taipei City, Taiwan

What you will do

• Investigate, analyze, and resolve supplier quality issues identified during manufacturing or through customer field failures.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective action implementation with suppliers.
• Conduct supplier audits and analyze manufacturing data and defect trends.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and coordinate quality activities for components and suppliers.
• Develop, maintain, and improve supplier quality policies and procedures.
• Use statistical process control tools to support data-driven decisions and verify corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Data System Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years in supplier quality management.
• Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills are required.
• Ability to investigate problems to root cause, define and close engineering tasks, and work independently with limited information or support.
• Experience with server and rack power engineering, including PSUs, power shelves, and PDUs, or thermal management components such as liquid-cooling thermal plates, manifolds, heat sinks, and fans.

Nice to have

• Experience with Quality Management Systems.
• Knowledge of component designs, manufacturing methods, PFMEAs, and failure modes.
