Core Operator (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, California, five days per week

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Partner directly with the CEO to structure and solve high-impact, ambiguous business problems from definition through execution.
• Support operations across fulfillment, customer experience, supply chain coordination, sourcing, and internal workflows.
• Design and build AI-driven systems, automation workflows, and low-code solutions to eliminate bottlenecks and manual work.
• Build automated supplier discovery, qualification, outreach, and AI-assisted negotiation workflows covering pricing, MOQs, and contract terms.
• Support growth initiatives, market research, experimentation, and performance tracking.
• Develop financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools based on unit economics.

Requirements

• Degree from a top-tier university in engineering, science, mathematics, business, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered systems, automation workflows, or low-code solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Strong technical fluency, including demonstrated coding ability for business-background candidates or applied AI and automation experience for engineering and science candidates.
• Experience with financial models, dashboards, BI tools, forecasting, unit economics, or performance analysis.
• Background in operational analysis, process optimization, supply chain workflows, market research, supplier discovery, vendor evaluation, or negotiation.
• Full-time in-office presence in San Francisco is required, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in e-commerce, DTC, or membership models.
• Growth analysis, A/B testing, content creation, or community engagement experience.
• Familiarity with functional nutrition or consumer products.
