Global Software Support Engineer-Semi (Semiconductor)

Location: Xi'an, China. Onsite role with travel required 50% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Analyze and resolve equipment software application and systems issues of moderate complexity.
• Investigate customer high-value problems, systemic bugs, and software failures.
• Provide customer software support through the software ticketing system and deliver timely issue updates to stakeholders.
• Create, test, and verify software change notifications and key feature procedures.
• Contribute to customer-facing feature documentation, software specifications, design reviews, testing, and documentation reviews.
• Assist with training junior engineers and detailed product operation.

Requirements

• Expanded conceptual knowledge in the relevant discipline and the ability to broaden technical capabilities.
• Ability to understand key business drivers and apply technical experience and judgment to solve straightforward problems.
• Ability to explain complex information clearly in straightforward situations.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time and work in Xi'an, China.
