Software Applications Engineer (PCB)

Location: Shenzhen, China; frequent travel to different cities for on-site customer support

What you will do

• Provide first-line technical support for Frontline software, including installation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers and ensure timely responses and effective problem resolution.
• Document, track, and escalate complex technical issues and product enhancement requests to R&D and relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and R&D on customer onboarding, demonstrations, business growth, and product improvements.
• Deliver technical presentations, customer training, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Travel frequently to provide on-site technical support and customer service for regional customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree and 2–5 years of PCB-related work experience.
• At least 2 years of MI experience in the PCB industry.
• Experience in technical support, software troubleshooting, installation, configuration, or maintenance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities.
• Good English proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Frontline InPlan/InFlow or InCAMPro.
