IP Program Management & Quality Intern (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Support end-to-end management of internal and third-party semiconductor IP from onboarding through release and maintenance.
• Maintain IP records, catalog information, and IP identification databases.
• Support IP quality compliance, milestone tracking, audit preparation, process documentation, and Quality Management System activities.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and management reports covering portfolio health, IP usage, royalties, quality metrics, and operational KPIs.
• Perform data validation, analytics, workflow automation, and process improvement using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, and Python.
• Deliver an IP program management and quality assurance project and present findings and recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics.
• Understanding of semiconductor design or manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, SQL, or Python and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong programming, automation, communication, presentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently in a cross-functional environment with a quality mindset.
• Technical familiarity with EDA tools, Power Automate, data visualization, dashboarding, Copilot Studio, Kiro, or Chip Nexus is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted software development or AI-based workflow automation.
• Interest in machine learning, generative AI, and large language models.
• Knowledge of third-party IP ecosystems, customer quality management, or IP release governance.
