College Intern PSE Metrology (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Learn semiconductor wafer fabrication processes and the role of metrology in process control.
• Study SEM technology and operate Critical Dimension Scanning Electron Microscope (CDSEM) systems.
• Set up and optimize CDSEM measurement recipes.
• Analyze measurement data for process monitoring, excursion detection, and yield improvement using SPC methodologies.
• Contribute to tool-to-tool matching methods that improve measurement consistency across CDSEM platforms.
• Collaborate with customers, applications engineers, technicians, and factory personnel.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, materials science, electronics, semiconductor technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong interest in semiconductor manufacturing, metrology, and process control.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and statistics, with the ability to interpret technical data and identify trends or anomalies.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to troubleshoot problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SPC concepts.
• Knowledge of Python, JMP, or Minitab for data analysis.
• Basic understanding of microscopy, imaging systems, or semiconductor process technology.
