What you will do

• Support annual medical strategy planning, launch activities, goal setting, and lifecycle management for cardiovascular products and the future pipeline.
• Adapt global and regional strategies to Japanese priorities and provide Japan-specific medical input to cross-regional and cross-functional programs.
• Collaborate with brand, development, and stakeholder teams to communicate scientific and medical value and support access to medicines.
• Develop and lead evidence-generation strategies, including hirify.global-sponsored and investigator-sponsored studies.
• Plan and execute publications, medical events, and scientific engagement activities.
• Develop and execute KOL engagement plans while providing medical insights for portfolio and product evaluations.

Requirements

• Advanced degree such as a PhD, master's degree, RPh, or PharmD, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional training.
• At least 3 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or a related pharmaceutical-industry function.
• Good communication and negotiation skills with scientific experts and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in reading, listening, and speaking English and Japanese is required.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Nice to have

• Experience in clinical practice, medical affairs, and clinical, medical, epidemiological, or real-world-data research.
• Strong scientific, clinical, and data science expertise in the cardiovascular therapeutic area.
• Expertise in lipid-lowering therapy and related disease states.
