What you will do
- Support the development and execution of the Japan Medical Plan for autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes.
- Provide scientific input for medical content and cross-functional initiatives, including regulatory interactions and lifecycle planning.
- Lead publication planning, congress and symposium participation, advisory board presentations, and other medical communications.
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders and scientific societies and share medical insights to inform strategy.
- Plan and execute company-sponsored clinical studies and externally sponsored research, including post-approval and investigator-sponsored studies.
- Analyze real-world data and collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons and global medical teams on field strategies.
Requirements
- Experience in pharmaceutical medical affairs, R&D, or clinical research, including an MSL, Medical Advisor, or Medical Manager role.
- Strong scientific knowledge in immunology, endocrinology, or a related therapeutic area.
- Ability to interpret clinical and real-world data, with experience in medical writing and publication activities.
- Advanced degree such as MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent education and experience.
- Fluent Japanese and business-level English reading and writing are required.
- Strategic thinking, independent working ability, cross-functional collaboration, and strong communication skills.
