T1D Medical Manager (Type 1 Diabetes)

Location: Tokyo, Japan; 40% remote and 60% onsite

What you will do

• Support development and execution of the Japan medical plan for autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes.
• Provide scientific input for promotional materials, regulatory interactions, and development planning.
• Plan and execute publication activities, congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and scientific meetings.
• Engage with key opinion leaders, scientific societies, Medical Science Liaisons, and global medical teams.
• Plan and manage company-sponsored, post-approval, and investigator-sponsored studies.
• Analyze real-world data, share medical insights, and provide guidance to Medical Advisors.

Requirements

• Advanced degree such as MD, PhD, PharmD, or DNP in a medical specialty preferred; a relevant life science degree with healthcare specialization is required.
• Experience managing clinical trials or studies and knowledge of GCP and ethics guidelines.
• At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D or Medical, with relevant MSL or Medical Manager/Medical Advisor experience desirable.
• Knowledge of Type 1 Diabetes, medical research and development, statistical and data interpretation, and scientific paper writing.
• Fluent Japanese and business-level English required.
• Availability to work in the Tokyo-based hybrid arrangement with 40% remote and 60% onsite work, including national and international travel.
