Location: Hybrid position in Richardson, Texas, with regular presence required at the employee site. Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What you will do

  • Coordinate the new-patient referral process from intake through scheduling.
  • Collect demographic, insurance, referral, medical record, and pre-visit information.
  • Register and update patient accounts in practice management and electronic health record systems.
  • Assess and triage referral needs, respond to inquiries, and provide appointment instructions.
  • Verify insurance benefits and eligibility and follow up on missing records and test results.
  • Work with providers and clinical staff to resolve administrative issues and accommodate scheduling requests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of revenue cycle or patient access experience in healthcare preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and insurance benefits and eligibility verification.
  • Knowledge of multiple practice management and electronic health record platforms preferred.
  • Completion of required onboarding courses and training within 45 days of starting the position.
