Engineer I, Electrical Design

What you will do

• Define product specifications and design servo valves, hydraulic actuators, hydraulic equipment, electric actuators, and control devices.
• Develop solutions that meet customer needs, target costs, quality requirements, and market specifications.
• Lead product development and electrical design projects while following standard engineering and project management processes.
• Conduct product evaluation testing and prepare technical reports.
• Provide manufacturing and production support, including designing manufacturing and test equipment.
• Investigate customer claims and manufacturing defects and collaborate with global hirify.global colleagues on resolutions.

Requirements

• Ability to perform electrical product design and development work.
• Ability to define and clarify product design specifications with customers and sales teams.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, operations, manufacturing, and other functions.
• Ability to follow engineering documentation, tooling, and project management processes.
• Ability to evaluate products, compile technical information, and investigate technical issues.
