Day Shift Treating Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage production operations across multiple departments and shifts.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop employees while setting expectations and conducting performance reviews.
• Manage department costs, profitability, inventory, reports, and operational records.
• Identify and resolve production, quality, and operational problems.
• Lead continuous improvement and safety initiatives, including participation in the Safety Committee.
• When assigned to the Treating Department, follow hazardous material handling procedures and assist with material movement using a forklift when required.

Requirements

• Post-high-school education.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience and 1–3 years of people-management experience.
• Strong communication, organization, agenda-setting, reporting, and employee-accountability skills.
• Knowledge of the Precise Plant Quality Program, quality training, troubleshooting, machinery, equipment, preventive maintenance, and standard work instructions.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement principles, including 5S and TPM.
• Training in machine audits, LOTO, safety improvements, and hazardous material handling where applicable.
• Successful completion of the forklift driver licensing process.
