Lead Strategic Financial Analyst

Location: Open across Canada; availability to work EST/EDT hours required

Salary: $120,000–$145,000 total compensation annually for work performed in Ontario

What you will do

• Structure complex, open-ended business questions spanning multiple areas of the company.
• Analyze business models, revenue streams, growth drivers, and consolidated performance.
• Build driver-based financial models and strategic analyses from the ground up.
• Find, access, and validate data using SQL or equivalent querying tools and BI platforms.
• Improve in-year and long-range forecasting methodologies, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Own monthly and quarterly finance reviews and translate analysis into recommendations for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure ambiguous or unowned problems.
• Financial modeling expertise, including driver-based models and three-statement analysis.
• Direct experience working with SQL or an equivalent querying tool and a BI platform.
• Strong business curiosity, critical thinking, and relationship-building skills.
• Clear communication skills for finance and non-finance audiences.
• Experience in a complex business with multiple revenue streams or business models.
