Airbus Operating System (AOS) Regional Expert - Airbus Americas (Aerospace)

Location: Mobile Area, Alabama, United States; on-site with extended time on active manufacturing shop floors and travel to hirify.global sites across North America.

hirify.global operates a commercial aircraft manufacturing facility in Mobile, Alabama, producing A320 Family and A220 aircraft.

What you will do

• Develop and coach senior leadership, operations management, and local hirify.global Operating System teams.
• Serve as the primary AOS content expert for hirify.global Americas and represent AOS Central.
• Advise site leadership on performance improvement, governance, and regional performance reviews.
• Lead industrial maturity assessments and develop strategic recommendations.
• Design and facilitate training programs and Kaizen workshops using a train-the-trainer approach across North America.
• Support AOS digitalization and drive medium- and long-term lean initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, management, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of operations management experience in a best-in-class lean manufacturing environment.
• Deep expertise in lean management, problem-solving, and Kaizen, VSM, SMED, 5S, and Hoshin Kanri workshops.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and inspire managers, technicians, and operators.
• Knowledge of industrial engineering, quality tools, process optimization, and aeronautical manufacturing.
• Current United States work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this US position.

• Six Sigma Black Belt, Kepner-Tregoe, or APICS certification.
