Vision Center Manager L2 (Optical)

Location: Ashland City, Tennessee, United States; onsite at the hirify.global Supercenter

Salary: $36.50–$46.50 per hour, plus potential performance-based bonuses and regional pay adjustments.

What you will do

• Manage Vision Center sales, merchandise presentation, pricing, inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting, and performance improvement.
• Lead customer service activities and resolve customer complaints and issues within company standards.
• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, assign, recognize, and develop Vision Center Associates.
• Consult with customers on eyewear, verify prescriptions, take measurements, perform minor frame repairs, and maintain optical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal requirements, including confidentiality, safety, quality assurance, asset protection, and operational controls.
• Coordinate community outreach, stakeholder relationships, business initiatives, and continuous learning activities.

Requirements

• Completion of two or more years of college, or qualifying combinations of retail, supervisory, general work, and optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws and regulations.
• Ability to supervise and develop associates and deliver customer-focused service.
• Ability to maintain confidential information and follow safety, quality, legal, and ethical standards.
