DDP (Dielectric Deposition) Process Support Engineer (Semiconductor): Supporting semiconductor process development and equipment qualification through on-site installations, system diagnosis, repair, and customer collaboration with an accent on dielectric deposition, experimental design, statistical analysis, and process troubleshooting. Focus on designing hypothesis experiments and DOEs, analyzing technically challenging process data, performing root cause analysis, and resolving advanced semiconductor manufacturing issues.
Location: Hwaseong-Lucestar, South Korea; onsite work with approximately 20% travel. Relocation is not available.

What you will do
- Provide customer support through onsite installations, system diagnosis, service, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
- Collaborate with customers and R&D teams to develop processes for advanced semiconductor chip manufacturing.
- Design hypothesis experiments and design-of-experiments studies, analyze data statistically, and prepare technical reports.
- Troubleshoot complex process and equipment problems, perform root cause analyses, and resolve customer product issues.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to establish trust and achieve technical goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry.
- Communication proficiency in English is required.
- Ability to work onsite in Hwaseong-Lucestar, South Korea and travel approximately 20% of the time.
