Painter - 3rd Shift (Powder Coating)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States. Full-time, on-site third shift: Sunday–Friday, 10:15 PM–6:45 AM.

Compensation: $14.80–$27.50 per hour, depending on knowledge, skills, experience, education, and performance.

What you will do

• Set up and operate manual and automatic powder-coating and spray-painting equipment.
• Hang, unload, position, and move production materials through the finishing system.
• Select colors, refill powder-feeding units, record powder usage, and maintain production equipment.
• Inspect finished components for complete coverage and quality, performing sanding and touch-ups as needed.
• Stack and identify completed work, maintain ihirify.globalory records, and deliver materials to the next production department.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in lean activities focused on reducing waste and improving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and cash performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with powder-coat painting in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks, lift tables, and wheeled carts.
• Ability to use hand tools, measurement tools, fixtures, computers, and required safety equipment.
• Ability to adapt to changing business conditions and work effectively in a production environment.
