Experience Designer (Design Systems)

Location: Onsite five days per week in Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; Birmingham, AL; Dallas, TX; or Phoenix, AZ

What you will do

• Create and update documentation and graphics for design system specifications.
• Build, fix, and test Figma components and design and test Angular components.
• Create development specifications and maintain reusable component libraries.
• Collaborate with content and accessibility partners, including ADA stakeholders.
• Facilitate design reviews, open office hours, governance meetings, and cross-team working sessions.
• Research competitive design systems, prepare governance topics, answer help desk questions, and support special projects.

Requirements

• Four or more years of experience in design system facilitation and presentations.
• Product design and UX design experience, including wireframing and prototyping.
• Experience with Figma, HTML, CSS, Adobe, and WCAG accessibility.
• Experience building and maintaining design systems or component libraries.
• Experience with Confluence or wiki documentation and Jira or ticketing systems.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in one of the listed U.S. locations.

Nice to have

• Banking or finance industry experience.
• Design system experience or background.
• Portfolio link submitted with the resume.
