Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Location: Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, United States; on-site production role, 1st shift

Hourly pay: $30.00–$35.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Incentive and discretionary annual bonus opportunities may be available.

Endurable Building Products, part of UFP Site Built and hirify.global, manufactures prefabricated custom-designed aluminum decks, railings, and balconies for the construction industry.

What you will do

• Lead production operations across multiple departments and shifts while meeting safety, quality, output, cost, and profitability targets.
• Supervise, motivate, coach, train, and evaluate employees, including conducting reviews and providing daily feedback.
• Plan workflows, resolve production problems, manage department inventory, and maintain required reports and records.
• Lead continuous improvement and safety initiatives, including participation in the Safety Committee.
• Coordinate with plant leadership, maintenance staff, and safety leaders on equipment, standard work, machine audits, JDA/JSA activities, and LOTO.
• Operate a forklift when needed to move materials to and from the production area.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience and 1–3 years of people-management experience.
• Post-high-school education is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, agenda-setting, problem-solving, and employee-accountability skills.
• Knowledge of machinery, equipment, preventative maintenance, standard work instructions, quality requirements, and the Precise Plant Quality Program.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement principles, including 5S and TPM, and commitment to safety as the top priority.
• Successful completion of the Forklift Driver licensing process is required.
