Production Supervisor - First Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Sussex, Wisconsin, United States; onsite first-shift production role

What you will do

• Lead the daily operation of a production shift across multiple manufacturing processes and product lines.
• Direct production activities to complete manufacturing schedules safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Supervise, coordinate, coach, and develop production employees while managing performance.
• Coordinate workforce capacity, employee onboarding, parts flow, and communication between shifts and departments.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.
• Compile and analyze production data, maintain reports, and resolve conflicts on the shop floor.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of experience leading teams, developing people, or organizing tasks.
• Ability to maintain a clean and orderly production environment and follow company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, accountability, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly and occasionally lift 25–50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience using SAP or an equivalent ERP system such as Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Previous experience as a team lead or leading project teams in an operational environment.
