Commercial Lines Account Manager

What you will do

• Service new and existing commercial lines clients and maintain positive client relationships.
• Review expiring policies, determine renewal actions, and prepare rates and quotations.
• Manage binders, ID cards, applications, endorsements, cancellations, policy rewrites, and coverage documentation.
• Respond to client requests by phone and mail and coordinate required actions with insurance companies.
• Assist with accounts receivable control and document conversations with insureds and other interested parties.
• Follow underwriting and binding authority guidelines while protecting the agency from errors and omissions liability.

Requirements

• Property and casualty license required.
• 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of insurance company underwriting and binding authority guidelines.
• Ability to assess policy coverage and limits in light of current legal and social conditions.
