Multi-Skilled Technician (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States; onsite at a logistics warehouse

Salary: $38.55–$42.05 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on lift trucks, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, dock equipment, refrigeration equipment, and electrical and electronic equipment.
• Diagnose refrigeration and electrical problems using technical drawings, schematics, multimeters, laptops, and other diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, logic controls, equipment networks, and external I/O devices.
• Maintain, inspect, clean, and repair industrial equipment batteries, including changing batteries and retention plates.
• Operate material-handling and powered equipment and complete work orders, records, logs, and other documentation.
• Support other maintenance technicians with equipment repairs and maintenance.

Requirements

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology plus 2 years of industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology, including automated-equipment troubleshooting and repair; or 3 years of equivalent experience.
• Ability to work at the Fort Worth, Texas facility.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and follow established maintenance procedures.
• Availability for weekday or weekend day and evening/overnight schedules; exact schedules are discussed during the interview.

Nice to have

• Troubleshooting experience.
• Associate degree or coursework in Electrical Science.
