TL;DR
Finance Supervisor (Manufacturing Finance): Managing accounting and finance activities for a Beijing manufacturing site with an accent on financial close, budgeting, product costing, inventory controls, and audit management. Focus on partnering with site leadership, ensuring US-GAAP and SOX compliance, supporting a new plant setup, and coordinating with global finance operations.

What you will do
- Manage the full set of accounts and month-end and year-end financial closing.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support management decisions.
- Lead product costing, variance analysis, inventory revaluation, and inventory control activities.
- Partner with the Beijing Manufacturing Director and site leadership on operational performance and profitability improvement.
- Coordinate communication between the Beijing site and global operations and finance teams, including support for Singapore costing activities.
- Lead internal and external audit coordination, support a small accounting team, and contribute to finance governance for a new manufacturing plant.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, including 3–5 years in costing and manufacturing finance within a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of IFRS, CAS, and local tax regulations.
- Experience with US-GAAP, SOX requirements, and internal controls.
- Fluent English and Mandarin required for communication with overseas headquarters and local teams.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Oracle, HFM, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
- Experience with factory start-ups or finance transformation.
